First some information for my devices:My internet speed drops down dramatically (to 4~6 Mbps) after a few days through the wireless and wire from the ASUS router and I need to change the port which Asus router plugin in the Modem and the speed will grow up to the normal(300Mbps). I just upgraded my Comcast modem to the XB7 myself, both with and without bridge mode. The Xfinity WiFi should be turned off.There are issues with having "two routers". Under the General Tab....AiProtection.....Network protection is all enabled. Rebooting gateway multiple times per day to get my stuff to work. The wi-fi is turned on for the xfinity router. And the Orbi would NOT recognize the Xfinity Internet with the XB7 gateway set to bridged enabled. Obviously I was getting near 1Gbps via ethernet direct from the previous XB6 to my iMac.

So, after a week away from home, I did a factory reset on the Orbi and rebuilt the network. After the firmware update the Orbi works with no issues and the Xfinity router is set with bridge (DISABLED) and wifi on. With the other computer connected to the modem this will help determine if it's the ASUS Router slowing down, or a modem/Rogers issue.If speeds are fast through the modem and slow through the Asus Router, then I would do a factory reset on the Asus Router.When I connect a computer wired to the modem, speedtest give me a 300Mbps speed, which is ok.

I would then reboot the modem and then run an Non-Volatile Ram clear.

I disabled bridging, and turned off the both wi-fi channels on the xfinity router, and I still get the same issues. When I did the factory reset, the Orbi also did a firmware update.
