Stephanie Turner got this movie financed, shot, and distributed on Netflix, so I guess she knows more than I do.I just finished watching the film Justine (2019) on Netflix. Without over dramatizing this beautiful story, Stephanie Turner manages to say so much about the attitudes in the United States and on a deeper level how we all have a human connection. Without resorting to typical cinematic conflicts this movie draws you in slowly into the writer's heart and resolves with a Hollywood ending that somehow manages to feel absolutely real.

The entire movie your waiting for something major or dramatic to happen and you feel like there is hints that there is going to be, but never happens. The dialogue & the acting was so authentic & believable!

I personally do not think that this movie paints a negative image of white people (as one reviewer said), instead I think that it delved into touchy topics in a realist way. She's just a decent character or supporting actress. It's a feel good movie for a lazy day at home. 9 out of 21 found this helpful. I just finished watching the film Justine (2019) on Netflix. Justine is a love story set against the backdrop of Brighton and tracked by a violent and puzzling tale of a young woman's descent into self-destruction. You must be a registered user to use the IMDb rating plugin. Written and directed by Stephanie Turner, the film is about a single mom whose husband has died (played by Turner). Maybe too good in that the character was so cold as to be unlikable. The adorable Daisy Prescott is wonderful and a delight as Justine. Was this review helpful? I almost couldn't finish the movie, the constant movement of the camera gave me a headache. Or guys who swear they aren't racist but for some reason when they get mad, racial slurs start magically flying out of their mouths.
