Cisco VLANs to SonicWALL Virtual Sub-Interfaces not working Hi all, I'm having an issue with a setup which has worked fine in the past and I'm in one of those "wood for the trees" situations. Basically, the DSM services that my LAN hosts do not work if my PC is pointed to an external IP and port. The switch you have does not support VLANs. We just recently purchased the Aruba APs and I have configured them to use the IP addresses of the Sonicpoints that we are removing. It can take weeks, or minutes before something starts failling. Last time it took about 5 mins before it stopped working. Attached is my config.

The problem is that we currently have 3 WANS configured as a PPPoE interface in the SonicWall, 2 of them as a subinterface with VLAN 6 and the other without VLAN. If I assign a static IP to a device, then it works fine. If I change this to 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.0.10.254 (vlan 1010) will work fine but all other vlans will not have internet access. The Sonicwall X0 interface is configured as a trunk, with to VLANs: a "native" VLAN for untagged frames, and V10 for frames tagged with VLAN ID 10.

So, your LAN is on VLAN1, untagged, the SonicWall port from the switch should have VLAN1 as the PVID untagged, but also have/be on VLAN12, tagged. The Sonicwall was initially set up by my predecessor with 12 Sonicpoints and 2 SSIDs in one VAPG. Firstly, the current setup in brief. I've taken this setup to other switches different models and brands and everything works fine so I know the Sonicwall side is setup right.
Somehow that feature got released before it comes to use.
