Ohio State hosts annual symposium on severe weather Lake-effect snow and prediction of severe weather are topics of the 8th annual Ohio Weather Symposium at The Ohio State University. Since its inception, the club has worked together to host an annual severe weather symposium, which brings together meteorologists from all across the country from all different aspects of meteorology to give presentations at Ohio State and to network with the student body.

From wildfire to hurricanes, the last year has certainly presented many fascinating and impact severe weather events. Due to Covid-19, the format of the event is likely to be much different than in years past, but we are still working to finalize details.
