Do not wear flip flops because they will come off your feet and likely float down the river. We got there right before they closed the office, paid our $5 per tube, and entered the river. The staff at the counter was beyond rude & very inattentive. Pricing: Being separate was not helpful. A great deal if you ask me. You can get off at multiple points and people do because they lose their floats. I bought mine from Academy Sports and brought them. I fell out at least 6 times. We thought the driver was saying the truth and respected that that maybe the rule,but we learned it was a lie when we spoke to the employees at "the island". There are massive rocks where people get stuck and you flip over in the rapids and slam into the rocks. She began to hurt her back on rocks because her tube was so low.
